From Jill on 7-17-08
Since Devon is too busy working on the closing credits to catch up with the blog right now, I’ll take over for today. The crew finished up its last day of shooting on Tuesday, which was a weight lifted off of our shoulders (especially since the weather has been so hot as of late). It also marked our entry into the third phase of film-making: post-production. Right now, Jauvonnie and Joe are working on editing. It looks like a slow, tiring project— they sift through every clip and figure out which ones stay and which ones don’t. The doc crew is going through a similar process as well, except with more informal footage. It’ll be really funny to see what makes it into the bloopers, though I have a suspicion that I’ll be made fun of quite a bit. All in all, though, things here are a bit more relaxed than they have been in past weeks. Hopefully, we won’t get too lazy and have to scramble at the last minute to put the finishing touches on the film! -- Jill
